    Everything was as planned! The 8-hour tour was perfect, right on time. Hiroko and Yasushi were very friendly and knowledgeable guides. We had free time to explore Shirakawa, and in the afternoon we returned to Kanazawa to visit the garden, paint Daruma dolls, and create a gold-leaf postcard. It was a wonderful experience; there were about ten of us in the morning, and it was just us in the afternoon.
